HOW DOES "TRADING" WORK?
When you bring in books to trade, we offer 25 cents for paperbacks and $1.00 for hard covers. The trade value can be used toward other books in the store. We cannot always accept everything brought in, depending on the need at the time. But you may try again at a later time and we might have use for it after more things have sold.
WHAT ABOUT CONSIGNMENT?
The fee for consignment is 30% of the total sale. You should set the price for your merchandise with this in mind. There is no time limit on how long the items can stay in the store. Since this is a new business, we appreciate the trust you show in allowing us to display your merchandise. It may take some time and patience before things are sold, but It allows us both the opportunity to grown together In this new venture.
DO WE BUY BOOKS?
On a daily basis, people bring in boxes of books to donate or trade, so it is not cost effective for us to buy books unless it is something very special or that we are searching for at that time.
NEW EXPANSION
We have added a new room with another 5000 books!! These include children's books and non-fiction.
There is also a cozy new loft for meeting with friends, having special club events, or just relaxing with a cup of coffee and a good book. The room may be reserved for those special group events.
